Back in 1986 I purchased my first car -- a '72 ST. The entire car was rebuilt as a rally racer. I loved working on it and driving it. When I moved to Seattle in '94 I had to sell it. I've owned two other Celica daily drivers over the years, but have been searching for a '72 or '73 to restore. Well, I finally found it. I'm a proud owner of a '73 RA21 with an 18-RG. It runs great, and almost all the parts and pieces are there. There is a bit so surface rust I'm taking care of on the interior, and cleaning up some wiring. This will be a long-term restoration, and I'm looking forward to every moment of it.
If there is anyone in the Seattle area, local meetups, or tips on mechanics in my area -- I'd love to know.
