Hello
Hi,
I am a new member, have just joined the site. I own two 1st generation celicas, a 73 LT model and a 74 GT model. Unfortunatly both cars are currently in storage as I plan to restore them to original condition.
I wish to say Hello to you all.

Yes, welcome to the site! And take some photos of your cars. The site is about people helping others with their cars so feel free to let us see what you have, and where you are at on your project. You can look in the project gallery and see people at many different levels on their cars.
Not everyone believes in "community". Some consistently hate & are negative. Some are self-preserving egomaniacs. The elitist clique ignores anyone outside their bubble. Lastly, innocent spectators, & then those who believe in community.

Re: Hello
Hi,
Thanks for all your comments and sorry for not stating my location previously, I have just joined this forum and am not that familiar with its settings. I am from Malta.
As regards to the photos of the celicas, I will try to take some as early as possible and upload them here.
For the meantime, I am posting a picture of another Toyota which I own, a 1977 KE35 model (hope the link works!). This was bought new by my mother and was also my first car hence it has a special value for me. Hope that you like, altough it is not a celica model.

Welcome.. wow!!! nice corolla.. cant wait to see ur celica.. ur probably the first member from ur area.. hehehe welcome again

Re: Hello
As promised I am uploading some pictures of my cars. As I already mentioned in previous posts, the cars are currently in storage awaiting restoration.............both cars have been in storage for over 10 years. The first two pictures (red car) are of the 74 TA22 GT model which is equipped with its original 2T-G engine, whilst the other car is a 73 TA22 LT model which also has its original 1600cc 2T engine. Restoration on the LT model was started a long time ago, it was stripped to a shell and taken back to bare metal. The underside of the car has been finished in its original gold colour (as seen in the last pic below) whilst the exterior and interior only reached the primer stage. The LT needs to be sprayed an re-assambled in order to be finished, whilst the GT has still to undergo the whole process. The current project car is a 70 Triumph Spitfire mk3 which belongs to my dad. As soon as this is finished, restoration of the celicas will hopefully continue so that they can make company to the KE35.
Hope you like the pics.

Hope you like the pics.

Re: Hello
Hi toyboyracer,
When I bought the LT, I was condiering spraying it in a different colour (at that time I was considering Yellow), however I decided to keep it to its original specification. Fortunatly to GT came in Red from the factory (Code335), and will eventualy be resprayed in the same colour.
