My name is Edwin I own a 1974 celica gt. I plan on fully restoring it and get it back to what it once was. I have bought a lot of parts of Mike his a great guy. I recently just picked up a 22re motor of a local guy I plan on building it and swapping it into my celica. If anyone has done this swap already which I am sure someone has I would really appreciate your help in anyway u can help.

I'm not the right person to answer your questions, but let me start the conversation by asking:

Are you planning on keeping the "e" part or converting it to a carb? Converting to carb is easier, but personally I vastly prefer EFI.

What year is your 22RE? If you are going carb I THINK the first year or two 22RE can be used for a 22R/20R hybrid.
