Chewy here from Tucson, AZ. Guess I'm re-introducing myself after being deleted. I bought a 1977 RA24 a few years ago after owning a '77 RA29. A resto-mod was always the plan but my heart was never into the liftback...something kept drawing me to the coupe. So I scoured the internet and was lucky to find one locally! I sold the LB and bought the coupe. Then life happened (marriage, kids, etc) and the poor Celica became a permanent fixture in the garage. But here I am, back at it and ready to dive into this thing yet again.
Many thanks go to Santos for getting me back on the forum! Thanks Mike!

Plain old stock...
As it sits today. Biggest accomplishment to date was shoehorning the 1UZ into the engine bay. Still need to sort the wiring, rack & pinion swap, fuel system, blah, blah....

Thanks! This car spent most it's life in AZ so rust is pretty much non-existent. Once I get a little further along with this thing I'll probably start a build-thread.
