RA24 from Ohio

Hey, new to 1st gen forums, picked up a 1977 RA24 from tennessee over the winter. Car was in a barn, non-runner. towed it back to ohio and started playing with it since then. Installed a LCE distributor, wired in a crane ignition box, msd wires, weber 32/36 carb, and installed a spooled 3.58 gear from my legends car. has ran smooth ever since and have been driving it to work in back for about 2 months. Love the car.

Plans for it is to get Aero racing wheels 15x8 rear 15x7 fronts 0 offsets. i have my old recaros i still need to make brackets for, and work on steering and suspension from there.

Love the car and slowly learning as i go. Glad to be on here as well!

thank you. id like to go to a celica meet, or toyota meet but not sure of any around this area. The big import meet around ohio is Street Life Tour at Kil-kare Speedway in Xenia, ohio. You gotta check that out at least once. Drifting, drags, dyno and car shows. its a good time

That wheel choice should work well I did the same with 195 50 15 front and 205 50 15 rear. Wished I could have went 215 50 15 rear but that's an oddball size and I thought 225 50 would be too much. Post some pics with sizes when you get em!

Welcome! I think I saw this car around Fairfield. Good to see another RA24 in OH! I thought I was unique with how rare these cars are around here. Where in OH are you located?
