Re: A short Hello from an occasional Visitor
Your white 73 was the first 1stgen celica I had ever seen. It is the single reason that i'm a 1stgen owner today. There was a picture of it on an acura website in a first car ever owned thread. I have only been aware of the existance of these cars for 11 months. Welcome!!
To see how Groupb treated me as a customer see: http://www.1stgencelica.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=13485 *SPOILER* im still angry about it

Re: A short Hello from an occasional Visitor
Oops - 6 Years between posts, I guess I should make a bit of an update.
The toy collection has changed a little, as they tend to do. The White Celica pictured above (The Unicorn) is actually back on the road after 14 odd years. It was stripped back to a bare shell and reborn to be more period correct. 2/3T-G Hybrid, Stock interior with period roll cage.
Love my Custom stripes as done by DavbyDesign. (And yes he can post world wide)
I also have a 1976 TA23 GT Replica restored to full GT trim. It was a full bare metal restoration. We even repaired and repinned the wiring loom. And yes, the stripes are more of DesignbyDav's work. (Its great when a graphic deigner is a Celica fan with a perfectionist streak )
The engine bay and interior shots are obviously mid restoration.
I also have another 1973 TA22, 2T-C powered Auto sitting on 13 x 7" rebel racing wheels. Pics to follow when I get some recent ones. Its only just back together (not finished, but back on the road)
A 1971 LT currently having the rust cut out and a full respray before we commence the full rebuild
A 1971 ST awaiting restoration (Factory 2T-B)

Re: A short Hello from an occasional Visitor
Popped in for an Update.
Still have the White 22 and the Mustard 23 (And a few in the build)
I recently added a TA27 Gt to the collection too
Dragged out of a shed on a Vineyard after 11 years of storage.
Then took it to Classic Japan exactly 4 weeks later.

Re: A short Hello from an occasional Visitor
The JMR Headstuds were a product he and I commissioned to be made so we could clamp the heads down better for boosted applications.
And they were an awesome thing.
We have since located a set of ARP head studs we can use. You need to modify the head of course as there Head bolt posts sit to close to the rocker cover to allow clearance for a nut and washer beneath the Rocker cover.
Hit my up over on the GarageCelica or 1stGenOfficial Facebook groups at any time.
