Looks pretty straight--especially for a Wisconsin car! What are your plans?

not much for plans as of right now. just gonna try to restore it and get it running right.
interior is crap so gonna source some parts soon too.

I wish the '76 I just picked up had a body in that shape. Oh well... I need to learn to weld anyway.
My interior is in excellent shape other than the rear seats having a couple tears.
Just needs alot of rust repair being from Northern Utah.

Welcome Cheela, looks like its in really good shape on the outside, did the car originate from your area ???? , The inside is a lot easier fixx than the outside, ya got pretty lucky on that one , plan on driving it during the winter ??? Mike

hi! no, the car didn't come from Wisconsin.. if it did then I don't think it'd look like this. but, yeah! definitely, the interior should be much easier to fix than the body. That's why i bought it. I'll post up pics of the rest of the car soon.
also, no, i don't plan on driving it in the winter, that would be torture for me and the car! so for winter it'll have a nice sleep in my garage!

I hear ya, I can tell you that driving it during the winter can be a lot of fun, used to drive to Reno and Lake Tahoe in the winter when I lived on the West Coast, rear wheel drive made it fun to drive , but, here in the Mid-West, salt on the roads is a body killer, I now live west of Chicago, Ya gotta store em, I'm clearing out the garage now to store it for the winter months , my Celicas body is in desperate need of lots of body work as it sits, don't need to make it worse...

yeah i know. those salty Wisconsin winters are so bad for our cars. and it's gonna get colder soon too.

windshield is cracked.. looks like someone took a bat to it. but suprisingly didn't crack all the way thru. can't feel it on the outside.

It looks like you have some work ahead of you, but nothing that hasn't been tackled a hundred times or more by people on this site.

In the end it will all be worth it.

i hear ya man. i'm so excited to finally have one. i already stripped the interior and most of the exterior but right now it's getting cold so i can't do much more. but not finding any really bad rust spots so ...
