Hello Ladies and Gents,
I'm Don from Philippines and I love vintage car.. for the past 3 yrs I acquired Mustang 65 Coupe and Toyota Hilux RN20 which both still in restoration process. I'm been dreaming for Mustang Fastback and one time I checked on youtube videos and saw the Fastback Celica and all of the sudden I fell in love. Since then I'm been searching from online ads (Philippines) if I can get one of these bad boys that I can restore with and trust me I can't find anything, except those old ads 5-10 years ago sighhhh... if I only knew...
Then luckily out of nowhere my brother sent me a message if I'm interested for another project and guess what he sent me a photos of 1973 TA27 Celica..
The only downfall the previous owner put a SR20DET S15 Engine on it and still in restoration process, anyway hell I care so now I'm one of the lucky owner TA27 Celica and I will restore it on my way and yes I will keep the SR20DET with a lot of aftermarket supports
These are the photos when we took it from the previous owner
As you can see there's a lot of things needs to be done...
So we pull it out and brought it to my bro place where my RN20 and 65 coupe parked
And so it begins
Nothing beats with ice cold beer when you start stripping this bad boy
I will keep posting the updates now and then, hopefully we can finish this before the end of the year...
Here's my goal
or primary metallic gray with black stripes on it...
Since the previous owner lost the dashboard, we will fabricate a new one same with below image;
I might need some of your help and advice and I hope you can assist
My special thanks to Les for registering me
