Looking to become a 1st gen owner

Post by kdjohnson78 »

Hi all, I've been looking off and on to find a first gen lift back since I first saw one in a wrecker yard some 18 years ago. A couple days ago, I came across a local for sale ad for a 77lb. Personally, I think his asking price of $2500 may be a bit high. He states that the car hasn't been run in at least 20 years and that the rear end is bent. The pictures look ok and the car appears to be complete, but I'd like to get the opinions of the community of its worth.

Pictures are : http://s1189.photobucket.com/user/kdjoh ... /mk1celica

Thanks,
Kevin

If that wasn't 17 hours away and across the border, I'd be all over that. I'm looking to find something local to the province of Alberta, but I may have to expand my range i guess.

Wait long enough and one will come up, that's usually how it goes. I hope that one isn't around the medicine hat area, there was one sitting in a field there that looks pretty similar to that, which used to be in great shape without being driven into
