I Finally got my hands on a 1st gen. kinda hard to find in good condition(duh) around my area and this is what I came across.

Lots of surface rust but the car looks pretty straight from the pics. My car came from Fredericksburg Texas 5 years ago, it was nearly rust free but still lots to do.

What are you plans for the car? Lots of info/ideas here.

this one has been sitting since 95 and it has the typical rust spots like on others. it has 61k miles. it was complete till I got rid of all the seats. but im still debating weather I should keep it or part it out. ive restored cars in worse condition than this.

I do have a 1uz in my garage. and thought of building a track or drift car. ill be treating the rust pretty soon and will try finding the replaceable body parts that need most attention.
