New guy from Malta

Hi everyone!
I'm a new member from Malta...i'm starting to restore a 1972 Toyota Hilux rn20 bought new by my grandfather with a 12r engine.
the
part is that the engine was changed to toyota diesel and the original 12r got scrapped.
A couple of months ago i bought an early 18rg engine + what i believe is a W50 5 speed transmission to swap with the current diesel. It came out of a 1976 Celica GT RA28.
It's still very in the early stages as the 18rg needs to be rebuilt, plus loads of extra spare parts that i would need to get it running! Here in Malta it's too difficult to find parts for these vintage jap cars...
I'm hoping to gain a lot of knowledge from this forum to start and complete this project and from what i've seen so far, it's like a gold mine for info on these cars
