Hey Guys ,
Hope all is well.... I went looking to get into a rebuild of some sorts and went to the local salvage yards looking for an Acura/Honda to play with and ended up finding a 1977 GT Liftback that was buried at the end of the lot next to some RV's. Could not believe what i was looking at!!! Grew up around my uncles owning and modifying Celica's ,Supra's , and Corollas so I new right away this was a no brainer and had to take it home asap!! I felt like i had found a treasure in the bottom of the ocean
Its in really good shape, Runs and drives pretty good, 4 Factory wheels and 4 Supra wheels as well. All original parts are present and in good condition except for the back bumper. Owners manuals and tape deck manual were in the glovebox. Interior is missing fuse box cover and shift knob , and the best part is that i found a For Sale sign inside the car with a phone #, decided to call it and it was the Original owner if the vehicle!!! Daily driven till 2010 and sold it to salvage yard cause of personal reasons.
Plans are to restore neccesary parts and body and will update as i go
Hope to interact lots more here on 1stgen and learn the love that enthusiast have for the celicas
