Bama Newbie
Anytime I can be referred to as a "newbie" I'll take it. I still have my first 74 Celica I bought with 6K miles along with a couple of parts cars and one pristine one owner 74 GT I picked up in Texas a few years ago. I used to wrench on Toyota's at a dealership and then later in my own shop from 1975 to 1980. I still love wrenching on my cars and answering all the questions from onlookers when I take them out for spin. Looking forward to sharing info with you guys and gals.

Here's a couple of pics... The 77 I just picked up last week. Believe it or not it turned over 50K on the drive home!

Re: Bama Newbie
Thanks for the compliment! I worked at a dealer back in the 70's and into the 80's and I've never seen another vinyl top go all the way up to the side mirrors like this one. Very strange.

Re: Bama Newbie
Nice cars! My 75 had a black vinyl roof, but it didn't line the doors. But that was an ST and your car is a GT. Maybe that's the difference.
Re: Bama Newbie
I don't care much for the vinyl tops but very nice for keeping it clean and original.
