1973 Celica Project

Hello everyone,
I am excited to have joined the group, as this is my first celica. It is a single owner California car that belonged to a navy vet. I pulled it from the back of a garage here in Alabama. It has been parked there since 1987 and reads ~35k miles on the odometer. Now, I know the purest out there and going to hate this but I’m planning to put a 5.3 ls motor in it. Any advice will be appreciated. I am already realizing that there isn’t a lot of info out there about this swap. Well, anyways, I’m excited to be and although this will be a slow project I hope you guys enjoy it once I begin.
