1974 police white Celica from Canada

I've never owned a car this old before (but the car and I are close to the same age).
I have zero mechanical experience (but I just bought the original Haynes manual and will read it and buy tools over the winter).
I think I'm the fifth owner of this car (it looked crazy many years ago, and I think two members of this forum restored it over time).
I like film noir and the charm and design of these cars!
