Hello From Sunny Seattle

Post by kwnate »

Recently bought a 76 LB and I'm happy to get access to this site as it seems to be the only one with any info! I'm new to first gen Celica's as I'm usually playing with mk3 Supras. Looking forward to learning about these cool old cars.

Plans are pretty extensive but it'll take a few years to finish.
First I'll figure out the suspension, probably corrola parts.
Hope to find black interior at some point
Beams 3s with a 6 speed, ITB's MoTeC
Last thing will be to strip it, pull the fenders (no flares) and paint it the original green. I like the white but I like the colors that toyota used on these cars. The green feels more authentic and period correct.

I'll just be gathering parts for the next 12 months while I finish my supra.

Welcome! I'm in Seattle as well. (Kirkland to be exact). Looks like a really well kept LB. Wait, when did it snow here?

That was from the sellers pictures in Puyallup. I'm just a bit north of Kenmore. Probably see you sometime this summer if I ever get out!
