Hi all!
A fresh (and faded yellow) '73 ta22 has landed in the city of The Hague after a search that lasted several months!
The 1st gen celica is a rare find in Holland, happy to have found one in almost perfect condition (minor fixes in the coming months) and happy to have stumbled upon this forum with like minded folks!

Nice find. They are scarce he to in Ireland. Most here are imports from Japan or Australia.
Re: Hello from The Netherlands
We're getting a good representation of members from the EU and that is a good thing! I myself am an ex pat Glasgow born. Toyotas back in the seventies in Scotland anyway were no that well received. There were too many good choices available like capris, escorts(XR3i), 323i's,nearly all manufacturers had a few "hot hatches or coupes available. I'm starting to cry now...what about a well dressed Opel Manta or a Renault Alpine...or...or.....
Thats it off topic WELCOME DaMixs glad you're here nice car...show us more pics please...I have friends that live in Sneek, are you near there?

)Nope, Sneek is right on the other side of Holland, I'm from The Hague.
It's gonna be a slow project, I am gonna 'modernize' my ta22, but haven't got much spare time!(1yr old daughter )
Here's some more pics!

Welcome European. There are, indeed, only a few 1stGenCelica left in Europe.
If "modernizing" your Celica results some original parts to spare, I am interested in storing those parts. I have a list of what mine misses.

But no probs, I'll give you a heads up if something reusable comes off, for now I'm waiting on the delivery of a new terminalset so I can do some maintenance, it won't start since last Sunday!
