Re: ford 4.6 vs 5.0
I wouldnt do the 4.6 either. It will fit, but with way too little clearance. Plus on top of that, they arnt really powerhouses...unless say a 3V or 4V with a blower. Heres a vid to watch... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sU5iiyBzl8E Now as far as the 302. Im slowly swapping a 302 in my pickup. The 3...

Re: New to 1st Gen Celica. Need some assistance.
Welcome from Houston. Does your 22R block have domed pistons in it? Or are they flat-tops? Most water leaks like that are either a cracked head/ blown head gaskets. You can get the head pressure tested at a machine shop. BTW. Let me know if you want to sell your A/C setup. biggrin -Just because I se...

Re: Canadian dreaming about a 1st gen
I have a 22R hybrid. Its been fairly cheap to build. Until I did alot of headwork. I probably have $1200 bucks in the whole engine. Its a good amount of power and pushed my truck faster than it should have gone. It should be nasty in the celica. Its a bolt in deal. They are great looking c...

Re: Canadian dreaming about a 1st gen

And replacement parts; such as brake, suspension, and engine parts are dirt cheap! I still havnt driven one yet under its own power. So I could...

Howdy, Raffaelli here...
Hey everyone, First off, let me say what a cool place you guys got here. Im Oliver Raffaelli, and I just picked up my first celica. A 77 GT coupe, 20R W50. Not exactly my first toyota tho. If it looks familiar, its B.Y.E.s old car. I intend to finish the body work, swap engines with my truck,...
