That car is in wonderful shape, I would bet it is 132K if it hasn't been registered since '90 just by the looks of it.

Re: New owner from Utah
Sweet liftback, Jared, welcome. You probably already know this, but your brake booster should be checked, as it is obviously the problem. Check the vacuum line to it first, if that's fine then it may be time for a rebuilt booster. They are not the cheapest parts for these cars, get 'em while you can...

That's a nice one with that rare white interior, should be no big deal to make it whole again on the outside. Not surprising that you would miss it after owning a Neon for a few weeks. What was that all about? But your old car? Very cool in my book, I would have cried, too. But is there a ring hidd...

Okay American names do have a meaning. Bob means Robert. Hey my name is Gary. What does that mean? To me, that's the most American name there is. Lol. Im not even white. I'm asian. That's the funny part. Names are always important. Yea think of a Japanese Classic Car named "David" or some...

Japanese names are cool. They have a meaning. Unlike american names like Bob means Bob. Lol  hahaha very true Ah, but most English names do have meaning, I'm sure even Robert has meaning if you go way back. My girls both have Welsh names, one means "love" or "beloved", and ...

Oh man, that's close to the name I was going to choose! I was thinking Ikeike, which means b i t c h. That way when it makes me mad I can say, "Stupid Ikeike!" Now I may have to go with Saseko (whore), or maybe Yariman (slut). Just kidding, Kieko is a good name. My daughter and I love the ...

Re: Hello, New to forum and have some questions.
Amazon has lots of used copies of Haynes manuals, both the old and new versions. I would get both, as they are slightly different and complement each other at times.

A couple rounds of Engine Brite and a power washer (and some time to dry out), and that thing will look good under the hood (and make working on it more pleasant). Very good car to start with, it looks like. Welcome to the show!

Wow, Ken, nice grab. I'm relatively new here also, but not new to Toyotas. I picked up a '77 a couple months ago and joined this forum, lots of helpful people here. I haven't been lucky enough to find a parts car, but I have made a few connections and got the few body parts I really needed. Looks li...

Re: Hey Everyone
Engine came out yesterday, got it stripped down to a long block core and the transfer parts cleaned up. Gotta do some repainting on the tranny and engine brackets, gas tank, etc. It's a long labor of love. I'll start a thread in the restoration forum and post pics from time to time. Thanks for the w...
