Re: New guy from Florida.

Nice! This guy lived in my mom's neighborhood and when I was visiting one day I heard it drive by and saw it. Hopped in my car and went and chased him down. LOL. Nice guy and the car seemed pretty clean, of course I didn't drive it. When he put it up for sale he messaged me about it. I've got my li...

Yes sir, the points were replaced with the distributor swap. And the little weber is really starting to grow on me after I rebuilt it.

Re: New guy from Florida.

Skeptic, he was asking 5500 for the Celica and I had about 4200 in the Benz. If I found the right buyer I probably could have gotten about 5000 to 5500 for the Benz. It's rare to find a 1st gen for sale around here, the Mercedes are rare but easier to find.

Re: New guy from Florida.

I did a test fit of my new Konig Rewinds and I have to say I am loving the contrast of the silver with the green.

Re: New guy from Florida.

I ordered up a set of Konig rewinds for my celica last night can't wait to see what they look like on the car. FYI discount tire direct is running a 100 off of 400 or more on ebay. I was able to get the rims for 360 shipped after the discount.

Re: New guy from Florida.

Quick question? Does anyone know how to get the slop out of the steering column? I did a search but didn't really come up with anything.

Re: New guy from Florida.

I forgot to add that I am seriously contemplating doing a Beams swap on her after I get rid of the wheels that are on it and stop driving it every day.

New guy from Florida.

Hello everyone, I the proud new owner of a 1977 RA24 Celica I traded a gorgeous Mercedes 560sec for the Celica and a few people have said I was crazy but I just fell in love with the Celica. I have started slowing fixing things that the previous owner did to the car that annoyed me. I started with r...
